Kundalini Yoga "Reprogram The Nervous System"
Description: Kundalini Yoga is a physical and meditative discipline that combines postures (asanas), breath (pranayama), meditation and the chanting of mantras. Kundalini refers to the energy that lays dormant at the base of the spine. Through the practice of yoga, this energy is raised and travels up the spine, through the chakras, creating an overall sense of well being and a heightened sense of awareness.
Join Chris at Studio 681 for a Kundalini Yoga Class designed to reprogram the nervous system and increase the flow of energy (prana) in the body. The kriya's involved with this yoga set will help to relieve anxiety, calm the mind, clean out certain organs and glands (varies each week), oxygenate the blood, bring clarity and balance. Some of the benefits to having a strong nervous system are that you can manage stress and be calm in tense situations.
Come as you are :) and bring a water bottle, yoga mat and blanket. There is yoga mats, blankets and pillows available.

Kundalini Yoga - Yin Stretching - Breathwork
Join Chris Dub at Temple Vortex for a class that focuses on waking up the body gracefully for a weekend full of energy and flow.
Join us in a tender hearted, considerate, non-judgemental, loving space to open yourself up. We will begin by opening the space with Mantra's of protection so we are supported and protected on our inner journey. We will then enter into breathwork and lightly guided meditation, which will weave into yin yoga. The yin yoga will bring us into deeper awareness of our subtle body and the subtle energy of our physical body. From here we will enter into the aspects of our body that need more tender, love and care. As we continue to open up and awaken the body slowly and naturally we will enter into stretches and movements that will connect to and build our foundation. Here we will find solid ground physically and internally. Once grounded we will move into a blend of kundalini yoga. breathwork & meditation. Each class will have at least one dynamic and interactive playful exercise. We will close the space through mantra as well.

Primal Movements & Intuitive Body Flow Class
Description: This grounding and tension releasing class aims to unite the Body, Mind and Soul through primal movements (The tiger, bear, gorilla, monkey, panther, lizard etc.), shaking medicine, intuitive body flow, boxing footwork, lateral movements, plyometrics, stretching and an integrating meditation. This workout will bring us back to our tribal roots, grounding in our lower chakras, our connection to mother earth, our breathe and our centre as we experience a clear mind and a body flowing with vital life force energy.
Day and Time: Only in Spring & Summer
Location: Trinity Bellwoods Park
